Please let us know if you would be interested in participating in this construction project for the US government.
Summary of the Scope of Work
The project involves repairing and renovating barracks B262 at Camp Carroll. The work shall be done by the contractor according to the drawings and specifications provided in the contract. Here is a summary of the work to be completed:- Submit material lists and shop drawings to DPW
- Repair/Maintenance (K) according to the attached drawings and specifications Civil Work:
- Replace existing AC pavement, concrete curb, sidewalk, striping, handrails
- Replace existing ditches with steel gratings or concrete box culverts
- Replace drain lines
- Provide ramps with handrails, fire line, domestic water line, concrete encasement, restore inlets, and replace concrete stairs Architectural Work:
- Replace floor finish, wall base, gypsum wallboard wall, paint interior walls, clean exterior corridor concrete floor
- Remove and replace concrete slab for plumbing and fire protection
- Clean and coat exterior insulation and finish system, paint exterior wall and concrete column
- Provide cement board and metal stud wall between concrete column for exterior duct guide
- Replace the ceiling, paint the existing concrete ceiling, and provide ceiling access doors
- Remove and replace low-sloped roofing system with EPDM roofing including insulation, mansard clay roof tile and support frame, canopy clay roof tile and support frame
- Provide guardrail for fall protection on the roof, steel step on the roof
- Replace interior and exterior doors, sliding aluminum windows with mini blinds, bathroom fixtures, cabinetry, and mirrors
- Provide individual electric range with oven, microwave oven
- Replace guardrails and handrails at interior and exterior stairs, non-slip at interior and exterior stairs
- Replace bulk storage cage, concrete splash block, gutters, downspout, roof scuttle, fire extinguisher cabinet
- Provide emergency key box, chain link fence, steel framed duct cover, steel steps on the roof
- Clean and polish the existing stainless-steel guardrail at the exterior corridor, and repair the unit entrance door Fire Protection Work:
- Provide Knox box and new wet pipe fire sprinkler system
- Replace existing fire alarm/mass notification system Plumbing Work:
- Replace the existing plumbing system including fixtures, piping, pumps, valves, etc. Mechanical Work:
- Remove existing HVAC system including heat pump units, exhaust fans, etc.
- Provide new heating and cooling systems including heat pump units, dehumidifiers, electric unit heaters, control panels, thermostats, pipes, insulation, etc.
- Provide new ventilation system including outdoor air supply unit, exhaust fans, dryer vents, ductwork, etc. Electrical Work:
- Replace lights with LED lights
- Replace light switches
- Modify existing panelboards and circuits
- Replace power connection wires
- Replace damaged panelboards, safety switches, etc.
- Reinstall existing CCTV cameras after cleaning and testing
- Replace utility wall faceplate covers
